Definitely pinning this. I sew with several women and one of them is one of the best seamstresses I have seen. She is always being asked to mend something and she really dislikes it. One time the lady who brought a pair of jeans to shorten said she didn't want to use her brand new ....... machine to mend. She will definitely like this on her wall. Thank you.

I mend only for love.

I recently hemmed sweater sleeves about 6" for my sister before an Alaskan cruise. She was so grateful she brought me a pink shirt with graphics of an Alaskan fabric store featuring prints for the pullovers worn by the Native American women.

I don't like to mend. I taught my daughter how to hem her pants. If someone is in a jam I will help out. I sewed for two weddings, asking only for photos of the dresses on the attendants. Never again. I received no photos, card or anything. These were not close friends. Oh, well. Live and learn.

Love the yellow and will hang it in my sewing n embroidery room.
My love is really embroidery, I still get a lot of mending jobs, guess it goes with the machine. lol

Thank You for this!! I get a "real" laugh with this - due to I do alterations for other people! YES!! I will be hanging this in my "Basement Studio". At least I can get SOME humor in this world!! :) :) :)
